I’ve been attending ACCCN ever since I was a little kid. As a child, I would misbehave a lot, as I was the kid who always didn’t listen to the teacher.
As I grew older, my faith in Christ was still lukewarm, and I only came to church for friends and to play. I always told everyone that I was a Christian but did not truly show people that I was. However, as I entered my junior year, I was surrounded with people who truly wanted to devote their lives to Christ. It was almost as God gave me a sign to finally commit my life to Christ.
My relationship with Christ slowly grew and grew, causing me to stray away from my lukewarm Christian path. My life changed when I let God guide it. Whatever happened, I believed it occurred for a reason. Every time a good or bad event took place, I knew it was a sign from God, and that it only happened to strengthen me.
I decided I wanted to get baptized because I believed that it was the perfect time to. I want to start my commitment and journey of faith in God by serving Him and telling people about Him, not being scared to show my faith. I want to finally serve the one true God, the one who rose from the dead and sacrificed Himself by dying for our sins.
This path will not be easy because I still will be making poor decisions and struggling with my relationship with God. With both my brothers and sisters, I hope to finally embark on our first step of obedience and our dedication to Him.
