Hello, everyone. My name is Peiqi Wang, and I want to take a moment to share my journey with you—a journey from feeling lost to discovering hope and purpose through Christ.

My life before I met Jesus was filled with struggles and confusion. I grew up in an atheist household, where the idea of God was something I didn’t understand. I often felt lost, struggling with feelings of anger and dishonesty. I would lash out at people around me, and telling the truth was a real challenge. I felt like I was wandering through life in a fog, unsure of my purpose or direction.

There was a time when I completely denied God’s existence. I thought that if I can’t see Him, then He can’t be real. My heart was hard, and I rejected the idea of faith. I was searching for something to fill the emptiness inside me, but I just kept feeling stuck in a cycle of frustration and despair.

One day, I decided to give the church a try, thinking it would be boring. But as I got to know everyone, I was met with love and open arms. The church welcomed me with love and kindness. It was such a difference from the loneliness I had felt for so long. At that moment, I began to feel like I belonged. The realization that God was real hit me, and He was working through the people around me.

As I continued to attend church, I noticed myself surrounded by friends who encouraged me to explore my faith. I started reading the Bible, and verses like Philippians 4:13 stuck in my heart: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This verse became a source of inspiration, reminding me that with God’s help, I could overcome my struggles and find strength in my lowest times.

The hope I have in Christ gives me the assurance that no matter what challenges I face, His love and grace will guide me through it all. After baptism, I commit to going to church regularly, reading the Bible, praying, and serving others. I will commit myself to this church community and be involved in it through things like helping out with Children’s Ministry. Today, I stand before you not as a lost soul, but as someone who has found hope in Christ. I am excited to continue this journey of faith and see where God leads me next.
