Life Before Christ

Before I met Christ, my life was a jumbled mess full of sin and wrongdoing.  I felt like life was a game and made some dumb decisions because of that.  I became anxious and thought about everything negatively,  but that changed when I met Jesus.

How I met Christ

I came to church for the first time and learned about what God has done for me.  I realized all the grace He has given me, which I thought was just my good luck.  When I was alone and naive, God came to me and showed Himself to me. God saved me from my pain to be with Him.  I received Jesus as my lord and savior because I have given control of my life to Christ and believe that He will save me from my sins.

How I changed after receiving Christ

After Jesus came into my life, I began to realize how unique life was and how much God has provided for me, and I began to sin less and trust God to lead me more.  I have not been anxious about small things anymore; instead, I leave the outcome to God.

My commitment/obedience to Christ

Since trusting in God, I have allowed Him to lead me, and I trust in Him fully.  I have started reading the gospel every day to get closer to Him and want to continue to live a life by His side.  I want to show God to the younger generation and show them how powerful Christ is. In the future, I would like to take part in missionary trips in order to spread Christ’s word to people around the world.

I want to become baptized because I want to show that God has saved me and I want to live a new life in Christ.  Praise God for bringing me out of sin and into the light.
