I have been blessed to live in a home that serves God and to be raised in an environment where I’ve always known God. I’ve come to know so many God-loving Christians at school, from church, and among family friends.
I attended Christian schools since I was a toddler. However, the idea of Jesus being my Lord and Savior really resonated in me in 2nd and 3rd grades, when I was attending Providence Christian Academy (a covenant Christian school). At that school, I better understood what Christ did for me, and I started reading the Bible. This is where Christ really entered my life and I truly believed he was the son of God.
In fourth grade, I chose to go to soccer practice on Sunday mornings and often skipped Sunday morning church because soccer practice ran over or I was too tired. I was so passionate about playing soccer that I lost my center. My mom put a stop to that and made it clear that worshiping God on Sundays should be my top priority.

Since then, I have been regularly attending elementary children worship, youth Sunday school, and FNYG. Also, I have enjoyed attending Award club, where we memorize a lot of Bible verses. I have learned to trust God more and more and to recognize that He is more important than anything else.
I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. My hope is that Jesus will guide me throughout the rest of my school years and beyond. I will try to follow God all of my life and stay committed to reading the Bible.
I’m excited to finally get baptized; after all, I was ready when I was four!
